Book Club Pick: Finlay Donovan Is Killing it

This was a fun and light-hearted read that we read around the holidays for our January book club. I for one, and looking forward to reading the second Finlay Donovan book now!

• Original story concept, a murder and mystery with a plot we hadn't seen before.

• Relatable motherhood chaos!

• Fun to read about an author trying to write a book.

• We all want and Aunt Vero now... while she came abruptly into the book she was an endearing and refreshing character.

• The books reads a lot like a movie with easy to follow descriptions and conversation.

• The confusion around the night in question

and the use of the name Theresa was entertaining throughout the story.

• The ending was both priceless and lends to a potentially hilarious second book.

• Overall 4 stars, but I might personally give it 5.

This would be a great beach read, day off escape, and your next book club pick!
