Small town mystery
Wine themed name, duh
Coming to a bookshelf near you July 27, 2021!
For anyone that enjoys Gilmore Girls banter, or the Meredith/Christina of Grey Anatomy friendship I say make a point to get this one this summer!
I loved the easiness and lighthearted character of this book, while it still remained a good "catch the bad guy" story too. Admittedly, I haven't read the first of this series (A Bad Day for Sunshine) but I am hooked and love the storytelling and POV the author brings to life.
Sunshine Vicram is the sheriff of a small town and was enjoying getting her footing with a teenage daughter and work, when an unexpected crime begins to unravel things around her. Her daughter takes off hot of the trail of clues, and their relationship has some refreshing love and laughter.
Meanwhile, Sun is trying to understand her feelings - which had a rawness to it that I really appreciated. A longtime friend a partner, the town bad boy, and bad dating app matches - I feel like the stumbling through this Sun experiences is relatable.

I don't want to spoil too much, and I also think some of what's going on with Sun would make sense after I read the first book - But I think this is a great buy. Would pair well with a sunny afternoon, a beach day, a wait in the car for during errands day, all of it. h, and of course a glass a wine!
Look out for this release coming this July!
